Aaron was born in Wichita, KS and raised in Maui, HI, graduating from Seabury Hall High School in Makawao, HI. He has an MA in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary and a BS in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
He grew up in church but hadn't surrendered to Jesus as Lord. In late high school, he gave his life to the Lord thanks to the consistent ministering of some friends and teachers. At 19, he started taking his faith more seriously when he joined YWAM in New Zealand and Seek the Lamb in Central America where he met his to-be spiritual mentor, Dr. Randall Smith. They ministered together in Central Florida at Grace Church of Sebring for 10 years.
What started as office work and learning the Bible, soon turned into becoming the Youth Director and then Director of Christian Education. The pair started a Bible School called the Great Commission Bible Institute (GCBI) as he worked toward and received his ordination to become the Associate Pastor and Director of the GCBI for his last four years there.
FALLING IN LOVE
Aaron met the love of his life, Sara, when he was 24 years old after being set up by a few mutual friends who decided to play match maker. They dated, and were married in July of 2008 in Vermont. They have two beautiful sons.
JUST FOR FUN
The Michaud's enjoy hiking in the fall and spring, reading and watching Pixar films in the Winter, and eating ice cream all year long. The family also loves reading the Bible and listening to podcasts, namely "The Bible Project".

LED TO SHILOH
Aaron and his family moved to Spokane, WA from Sebring, FL in 2013. He worked as a janitor and caregiver for the cognitively disabled while obtaining his Master's degree. After graduation, he found the opening at Shiloh. He happened to live just 3/4 of a mile from the church. Aaron started officially as the Associate Pastor in August of 2015.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL
"The Bible is my passion and is the most amazing piece of literature ever composed. It depicts God's relentless pursuit to restore humanity to Himself culminating in Jesus of Nazareth, the best thing to happen to humanity," Aaron said.
"My life is dedicated to introducing people to Jesus and His story contained in the pages of Scripture. I believe many people have rejected a caricature of Jesus and the Christian faith. When they are introduced to the Bible and an understanding of it in its own context, I believe they will find Jesus and His story irresistible. Biblical ignorance in the church is growing and we are exchanging the wisdom of the ages for pop-psychology and self help tips.
"One of my aims is to raise up a generation of leaders who are competent in handling the Word of God and fiercely dedicated to proclaiming its truths to plant churches that build on the foundation of Jesus and His Word."
