"I feel like students, as our next generation leaders, are facing the greatest identity crisis in recent years. There is so much confusion about who they are as individuals and what they are supposed to believe."

About Brolin

GROWING UP
Brolin was born in Nephi, UT and raised in Ephraim, UT, graduating from Manti High School in Manti, UT, and has a BS in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute.
Brolin attributes the beginnings of his relationship with the Lord to his grandma who brought him to church every Sunday morning. After accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a revival at his church, he began making his faith his own in his Junior High years and on through Youth Group.
FALLING IN LOVE
He met the love of his life, Stephanie, when he was 19 years old as she was frequently doing missions in Utah and had decided to move there. They dated, and were married in August of 2009 in Redlands, CA.
JUST FOR FUN
Brolin enjoys watching and playing sports, people watching, spending time in God's Word, preaching, cooking, and hanging out with his beautiful wife.

Joining the Team

LED TO SHILOH
Brolin had become a Youth Pastor in Utah but had a desire to further his education and become better equipped. He and his wife packed their bags, quit their jobs, and moved to Spokane so that he could continue his education at MBI in January of 2014. He was working as a childcare worker at Sally's House when he was offered his job at Shiloh as the Youth Pastor in June of 2017.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL
"I feel like students, as our next generation leaders, are facing the greatest identity crisis in recent years. There is so much confusion about who they are as individuals and what they are supposed to believe. As that confusion builds, students are left with more questions than answers," Brolin said.
"I believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ provides answers to a broken generation. By equipping students to know God through His word, assuring them of their Christian identity, this will allow students to go forth with boldness and purpose.
"This can be done through Gospel-centered preaching, Gospel-centered lifestyles, and a multi-generational (peers, parents and grandparents) model of reaching students. I believe the greatest Kingdom investment that the church can have is investing into the youth of today.
"My passion is that students will come in contact with the gracious King, because if they do, their life will never be the same."
SPREAD THE LOVE
We are so pumped to have Brolin on our team! If you want to get to know him better, have questions, or would like to send him a note of encouragement, you can do so by sending an email here.
