Thomas was born and raised in The Bronx, NY, graduating from Wings Academy High School. He has a B.R.E. in Pastoral Studies from Davis College, an M.Div. from Baptist Bible Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in New Testament through Clarks Summit University.
Thomas did not grow up in a saved home, but ultimately started going to church after being invited by some friends and surrendered his life to Christ his freshman year of high school. Coming out to Spokane in 2015 to work with Moody Bible Institute's Spokane campus, Thomas and his family moved to the PNW from Pennsylvania. He became the Assistant Dean of Student Engagements and an Adjunct Professor.
Journey To Shiloh and Beyond
LED TO SHILOH
Through mutual connections between Shiloh and Moody, Thomas was given the opportunity to preach on several occasions for the church. He applied for the position of Lead Pastor and was affirmed with a 98% congregational vote in February of 2018.
LED TO CHICAGO
In May of 2021, Thomas announced his resignation as Lead Pastor of Shiloh and officially took his new position as Campus Pastor at Willow Creek Chicago in July 2021. Thomas and his family have always had a heart for inner-city work and though we grieve Shiloh's loss of an incredible family, we are so excited for the work God is doing through them.
