More about Pastor Adam: Adam and Sarah joined Shiloh in July 2023. Adam is Shiloh's senior pastor. Adam VanGorp was born in Indiana, and he moved around a lot with his family as a child, eventually landing in Colorado, where he met his wife, Sarah, in high school. After graduation, Adam joined the Army, where he served for 8 years as an Arabic linguist; he and Sarah were married soon after his enlistment. They relocated several times, ending up back in Colorado where their two boys, Tyler and Jason, were born. After leaving the Army Adam felt led to serve in church ministry. In response, he began volunteering in youth ministry while studying in college and seminary. Adam graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014 with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership. He has served as a youth pastor, an associate pastor, and a senior pastor. In their spare time, Adam and Sarah enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors. Adam also enjoys science fiction books, movies, and video games (yeah, he’s a self professed "nerd"). Adam and Sarah are still trying to figure out what “spare time” means now that both of their boys are young adults. |
